The program is by invitation through The Jessie Ball duPont Fund. Learning requirements, skill building exercises, coaching, and networking are done through the Lightful platform. To qualify for match giving all requirements must be met. We have completed the requirements and have been awarded a 1:2 match for funds raised online from November 1st to December 31st inclusive!
Why is HCC&M being offered this match?
- To develop our digital fundraising skills
- To futureproof our organization by encouraging donors to give online
- To expand our donor base and diversify funding sources
How does the match work?
- To unlock the match, we have one more requirement: to raise $2,000 online.
- Once we hit this minimum threshold, it unlocks a 1:2 match that will apply to all funds raised online in November and December (including the initial $2,000).
- So, for every $2 raised, The duPont Fund will match $1.
How do I ensure my donation is eligible for the maximum match?
- Donations must be made online – through ChristChurch1735.org/donate OR by scanning the QR codes that will be available throughout the end of the year in Constant Contact emails, social media, and on Giving Tuesday (coming Dec. 2).
- If you need assistance, please come into the office; we can help you make a donation online in just a few quick steps.
- Checks and Cash are not eligible for the match.
- Each online donation up to $500 will be eligible for the 1:2 match.
- If you plan to donate more than $500, please consider making separate donations to maximize your giving.
- For example: If you donate $1,000 in one online transaction, only the first $500 will be matched 1:2 for a donation of $1250. If you split the donation into 2 transactions, both will be matched 1:2 for a total donation of $1500.
- To ensure your donation goes further, please consider multiple $500 donations.
- Please note – the match program begins Nov. 1 and ends Dec. 31 or until we raise $20,000.

- A maximum of $10,000 per organization
