The Wren Masters, a Baroque quartet from Williamsburg, take the audience on an interactive journey of discovery with the story of the English landing at Jamestown using music and eyewitness accounts from the time. Music from Elizabethan and Jacobean England alternates with early 17th-century music from the European continent. Don’t miss this special performance inside the superb acoustical setting of 1735 Christ Church, a National Historic Landmark. Intermission with libations.
Funding provided by the Robert S. and Martha S. Scheu Fund of the River Counties Community Foundation, the Virginia Commission for the Arts and the National Endowment for the Arts.
