Join HCC&M volunteers for this special trip to Charlottesville. See original Carter family diaries, letters and other papers in a private tour of Special Collections at the University of Virginia. Explore a fascinating exhibition on the Declaration of Independence at UVA’s Albert and Shirley Small Special Collections Library. At Monticello enjoy a tour of the house and grounds and a special garden tour with Peter Hatch, the celebrated author and professional gardener who served as Monticello’s Director of Gardens and Grounds for 35 years.
